The Harbour School, a small private school for students with learning challenges, autism, and multiple disabilities, has many great career opportunities. Assistant Teacher - BA in Education or related field required. The teaching environment includes small class sizes with an assistant teacher assigned to each classroom.

Transition Specialist - Experience working with high school students or adults with disabilities in a vocational arena a plus. BA in special education, transition, or related field required.

Video Production/Technical Broadcasting: Vocational Assistant - Requirements include experience with technical aspects of digital media (digital broadcasting, photo work, web page design and social media), experience with "laying out" or storyboarding a vareity of digital media on film such as newscasting, commercials, and short films. Candidate must be able to convey journalistic elements of a broadcast item to find a story, creat a visual story, write a headline, edit the story and follow ethical guidelines. Must be technically experienced in operation of equipment, shooting and editing film, creation of special effects, and use of music.

Math Teacher, High School - Qualified candidate must have a minimum of a bachelors degree in education or math, teaching certification is required. Experience with special needs is preferred.

Science Teacher, High School - Qualified candidate must have a minimum of a bachelors degree in education or science, teaching certification is required. Experience with special needs is preferred.

Social Studies Teacher, High School - Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelors degree in education and teaching certification is required. Experience with special needs is preferred.

Office Practice: Vocational Assistant - Qualified candidate should have a strong administrative background working with office equipment, InDesign and other graphic programs. This is an instructional position, working with special needs high school students in a vocational setting. You must be able to meet design and print deadlines throughout the 11 month school year.
