The Harbour Way: Innovative Learning is dedicated to the belief that Every Child Can Learn. Children and young adults who are challenged by life-altering learning disabilities, high-functioning autism, Asperger's Syndrome and other disabilities like ADD/ADHD can and will learn. Just not in the same way or on the same day as their peers.

What we do is show you how to find the way each child learns, leverage their strengths and create the day when learning will happen for them. We help you connect one day to the next until the child develops skills for learning that will serve them through out their lifetime.

The Harbour Way programs recognize that families and professionals need resources to assist with creating exceptional outcomes for children, adolescents and young adults with disabilities. The program further recognizes that families and professionals need a variety of services that blend new cutting edge techniques with the “tried and true ” to create great programming.

As a table requires four legs to stand sturdy and strong, so too our students require instruction in four key areas to successfully transition to adult life. We believe all children should be challenged to develop skills in the areas of:

1. academic competence,
2. social competence,
3. emotional competence,
4. and vocational competence.

In doing so our students graduate high school with a solid foundation, prepared to enter the adult arenas of continuing education, career and family -- ready to succeed!

Through a variety of services including professional seminars, assessments and direct programs for children and adolescents The Harbour way will provide the information and skills needed to ensure that every child will learn.
