Assistant Fiscal Coordinator:  Successful candidate must have a high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, or an associates degree in business or a related field.  Advanced Excel skills are required as well as knowledge of QuickBooks.  Candidate must be detail oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task.  Strong verbal communication and writing skills are needed.  Candidate will be responsible for accounts receivables and accounts payables; this includes processing bills, processing receipt of monies, reconciling accounts and creating invoices and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.  The assistant fiscal coordinator provides assistance to and back-up for the fiscal coordinator.  This is a 12 month position.

Teacher - Middle School Math & High School Math:  A minimum of a bachelors degree in education or a related field is required with a background in math, and certification in special education is preferred.  The teaching environment includes small class sizes with an assistant teacher assigned to each classroom.

Teacher - High School Reading & ELA:  A minimum of a bachelors degree in education or a related field is required with a background in reading and English language arts, and certification in special education is preferred.  The teaching environment includes small class sizes with an assistant teacher assigned to each classroom.

Teacher - High School Science:  A minimum of a bachelors degree in education or a related field is required with a background in science, and certification in special education is preferred.  The teaching environment includes small class sizes with an assistant teacher assigned to each classroom.

Assistant Teacher:  A bachelors degree in education or related field is required.  The teaching environment includes small class sizes with an assistant teacher assigned to each classroom.

Instructional Aide:  Seeking a behavioral assistant/1:1 instructional aide.  A bachelors degree is required, and experience with autism, behavioral based training and data collection is preferred.

Social Worker:  Seeking a licensed clinical social worker with experience working with children and adolescents.  A background in a school environment is preferred.  DHMH licensing is required.

Technology Coordinator:  The qualified candidate will have a strong technology background that encompasses installing, upgrading,m monitoring and maintaining school-wide computer systems including desktops, laptops and iPads.  Experience with MacOS and iOS is strongly recommended.  Successful candidate will be expected to perform troubleshooting in a timely fashion, and provide end user training and assistance when necessary throughout an 11 month school year.

Media Assistant, Part Time:  The qualified candidate will be experienced in updating and maintaining library of available materials in the school media center three days per week.  Candidates must be able to interact with and create engaging activities for students from 1st-12th grade.  Candidates will also assist teachers with the use of media center resources in the classroom throughout an 11 month school year.

Vocational Assistants in the following areas:

Office Practice:  Qualified candidate will have a strong administrative background working with office equipment, InDesign, and other graphic programs.  This is an instructional position working with special needs high school students in a vocational setting.  Candidate must be able to meet design and print deadlines throughout an 11 month school year.

Food Service:  Qualified candidate will be an experienced food service professional.  This is an instructional position working with special needs high school students in a vocational setting throughout an 11 month school year, teaching entry level cooking, catering skills and soft job skills.

Woodshop:  Qualified candidate will have knowledge of basic woodworking and carpentry skills, safe handling of tools and equipment, and supervisory experience.  This is an instructional position working with special needs high school students in a vocational setting throughout an 11 month school year, teaching entry level woodworking skills.

Event Assistant:  Seeking a part time (20 hours per week) administrative assistant for events.  Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office, MAC preferred, and must be able to independently manage a project, using excellent time management skills and attention to detail, and must be a self-starter.  Flexibility and ease in working with a variety of people both personally and over the phone are required.  We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic.  We are offering a competitive salary and an excellent working environment.

Vocational Assistant - Woodshop:  Qualified candidate will have knowledge of basic woodworking and carpentry skills, safe handling of tools and equipment, and supervisory experience.  This is an instructional position working with special needs high school students in a vocational setting throughout an 11 month school year, teaching entry level woodworking skills. 

Facilities/Custodial Manager:  Successful candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance, repairs, and inspection of mechanical systems and structural components of buildings and equipment, troubleshooting problems, assisting in determining work priorities, planning, and scheduling of assignments, preparing reports reflecting daily operations and project status, and ensuring that adequate supplies, materials, and equipment are maintained.  Candidate should have related work experience in maintenance and/or preventive building maintenance work.  Ability to lift up to 70 pounds at height using ladders or lifts is required.  Additional responsibilities will include supervising and filling in for custodial staff, managing adverse weather or temperature conditions, including light snow duty.  Candidates should have a practical working knowledge of electro-mechanical devices, hydraulics, plumbing, lighting systems, electrical troubleshooting and mechanics are related to the types of equipment and systems which are in the buildings under their supervision.  Experience in carpet and floor care as well as interior painting is preferred.  Basic computer skills are required such as word processing and email.  Candidate must posses a valid Maryland driver's license.  We are offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
