Assistant Teacher - Assistant teachers at Harbour are active participants in the teaching/learning process and an integral part of each classroom’s teaching team. Duties include providing instruction under the supervision of the lead teacher, assisting with classroom management, implementing lessons, and working directly with students developing social skills as well as assisting with social emotional learning. This position is part of a dynamic team working toward creating exceptional educational outcomes for students with special needs. We maintain small class sizes in a pleasant work environment. The Harbour School provides special education services to students in grades 1-12. The qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field and preferably experience working with children.
Teacher - The Harbour School is seeking a dynamic lead teacher for our special education school in Annapolis, Maryland. Experience with creating hands-on, meaningful, engaging lessons and working with special needs students is ideal. Prior experience with special needs students is a must. Ability to understand students with a variety of learning styles and differentiation of lessons to meet individual needs is required. The successful candidate will have small class sizes, great resources, and excellent benefits. Duties include planning and implementation of instruction, differentiation of instruction, IEP case management and mentoring of students as part of a dynamic instructional team with an emphasis on collaboration to create exceptional outcomes for students. The Harbour School is innovative, creative, and collaborative with a goal of providing exceptional special education programing that leads to academic, vocational and social-emotional success for students in grades 1-12. MSDE licensure is preferred, however a tuition free pathway to licensure is available for eligible candidates through our master's degree program.

Administrative Support - The Harbour School at Baltimore (Owings Mills) is seeking an independent self starter to provide administrative support. This position works with the school program, development and the fiscal department. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, some experience with purchasing helpful, have excellent attention to detail and demonstrated time management skills. Ability to work with a diverse population in fast paced environment is a must. This position is part of a dynamic team that supports school staff to deliver exceptional programing to special education students in grades 1-12.
