Programs and Services

The Harbour School provides the following services as recommended by the student’s individualized education plan:

• Speech and Language Therapy 
• Occupational Therapy 
• Physical Therapy 
• Counseling 
• Job Coaching

In addition to the above therapies, our students are provided social skills instruction through small groups run by our clinical staff. These groups focus on topics related to developing and maintaining social relationships in school, families and the workplace.

Athletics, Art and Theatre at The Harbour School

Electives are an integral component of The Harbour School programs. Recreational Education, Performing Arts and Visual/Studio Art are the main electives that you find at Harbour. In Recreational Education, students are able to perform as a member of a team, and learn about cooperative teamwork. Students can act in the winter play or perform in the spring musical by participating in Performing Arts. Performing Arts teaches aspects of dance, drama and music. In Visual/Studio Art, students can learn about art history and create amazing artwork!

Technology

Technology is an important part of student life at The Harbour School! As you walk through the buildings, you will see technology being used across all levels. The Harbour School has a 2:1 student to computer ratio, and an iPad for every student. We also have a SmartBoard in every classroom. In our Media Center, you will see students hard at work on our new 3-D printer.
